Save an article or screenshot from your iPhone
When something is worth keeping, send it to Resurface from the app where you found it. You can save a link, selected text, or a screenshot without inventing a folder for it.
Example: save a post from X
- Open the post in X and tap its Share icon.
- If X offers Share via…, tap it to open the iPhone Share Sheet.
- Choose Resurface, then confirm the save.
- Open Resurface’s Library to find the post again.
If you do not see the iPhone Share Sheet, copy the post link and paste it into the Link field on Resurface’s Add tab. Resurface saves the link first, then tries to extract useful context. Some sites limit what can be read; your original save remains in the Library even if processing is incomplete.
More ways to use it
- LinkedIn post: Keep a useful professional insight for a later project or conversation.
- Substack article: Save longer reading for a focused catch-up.
- Web article: Keep research from Safari or another browser.
- Screenshot or selected text: Capture something useful when a shareable link is unavailable.
Save a link from Safari or another app
- Open the page or post you want to keep.
- Tap the iPhone Share button.
- Choose Resurface in the app row, then confirm the save.
- Open Resurface and look in Library for the new item.
Share the link when available. Resurface processes what the source makes accessible, and the original save remains in the Library even if extraction is incomplete.
Save a screenshot or selected text
Take a screenshot or select text, open the iOS Share Sheet, and choose Resurface. A screenshot can take longer to process because text must be recovered from the image. If you already have a screenshot, you can also open Resurface’s Add tab and choose Screenshot.
If Resurface is missing from Share
Swipe through the Share Sheet app row and tap More. Find Resurface and enable it; you can add it to Favorites for easier access next time. iOS controls the Share Sheet order, so Resurface cannot place itself first.
What happens next?
Open the saved item to see its source and, when ready, a summary, why it matters, and a suggested next step. If processing fails, use Retry processing from that item; you do not need to save the same source again.
